Hey everyone, I am Arham. The goal of this blog is to share with the world some of the art/tech I have made or worked on. This is by no means a portfolio. The landing page of this website is some tech articles I have written, which remains the main focus. This website is an experiment above all else. I’m trying to get my hands dirty with SSGs. I am using Hugo for this particular website. The theme has been developed by me. You can find it [here]. The last time I used Hugo, I created an abomination that was extremely hard to maintain and develop for. It was a jumbled mess of code from different themes. This time however, I am developing everything myself.
even fairly modern consoles like the ps3 and the nintendo switch have emulators which are nearing perfection. everything before the ps3 has already reached perfection in terms of emulationApart from what you see on this website, I am quite fond of retro games. Particularly game emulation on modern devices. It baffles me to thing that a home console from yesteryear can be flawlessly emulated on laptop or heck a smartphone in 2026. Most of the emulators out there have matured quite a lot and offer excellent compatibility. Retro games while limited, are a lot more fun than modern games imo.
I also love tinkering with home servers and self hosted software. Most recently I set-up a RADIUS server on my PI Zero 2W to enable WPA-Enterprise authentication for a guest network. It’s absolutely incredible. Whenever someone comes over I can just give them a unique username and password instead of sharing my password. Once they leave it’s as simple as removing those entries from the database.
The first time I ever used a computer was my grandfathers ancient Zenith pc. It ran Windows XP. My access to that computer was quite limited, as it was very susceptible to malfunctioning and I only accelerated its doom. It was attached to a dial-up modem. I never got to open that thing to inspect its internals. I still have its keyboard. Uses the PS/2 serial interface.
Well if you must know, I am also fond of renaissance art.
